Tanya Michelle, a young up and coming diva, was born and raised Toronto, Canada. Having expressed an interest in music from the tender age of 7, she performed in her community with school choirs, musicals and bands before being scouted at her arts school with scholarships to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston. W...hile at Berklee, her scholarship achievements continued as she performed as a lead vocalist in the Vocal Jazz shows, and Gospel choirs.
From working with the New York based band Yazmin, to performing with musicians world wide, and then moving to Paris to start her own solo career as a singer/songwriter. Her diverse style of singing ranges from sultry, sensual vocal jazz to funky, spiritual and soulful packed R&B, Motown, house and funk. The undeniable experience of pure joy she receives and gives from performing is infectiously warming to all those who have seen her live, and seen her smile. Her powerful voice jet touches softly leaving the audience captivated.
