Will Solomon Meng just letting you guys know that I had trouble with going back to the ADVANCED Desktop mode, instead of the remix one..In the previous versions, the choice is in preference>Sessions, but im pretty sure that easy peasy removed this option and if you wanna go back, just go into the startup application and uncheck one of the options (desktop mode or something).

well. how cool is thiis? i'm just upgrading to the new o/s and i've found all of you folks. i have an acer aspire one. the ssd model.
i use ubuntu on my main computer... it's networked and is great . but this is for the little one. and easy peasy worked perfectly . wireless and all. i know how to get lots of... other cool stuff working.

Ray Dale Just installed Google Chrome browser into easypeasy on eeepc 701sd using the deb on google site. No problems - works like a dream. Fast, slick and very useable - bye bye Firefox.

Will Solomon Meng btw..how is SKYPE working for you guys? Or any other chatting tool that is usable for EEE pc 900 (900MHz CPU, 16 GB) I had Cheeseit on it b4 9i think thats what it is called but really lags when getting a picture taken)..
Will Solomon Meng I had eee pc 900 and i had been using the eee ubuntu for the last 6 months...really really slow and have been experiencing firefox freezes and cpu spikes all the freaking time..I just isntalled easy peasy today before i went to class and test ran the firefox..worked really well...no drivers needed. im still an amteur for linux...but loving it..
Renato Biolcati Rinaldi Everything works fine with EasyPeasy on my Asus EEE 4g. I just wonder why the choice of Picasa??? It is too darn slow and uses too much precious disk space, why not use F-Spot in 1.6? which is even better and Linux-native (Picasa uses WINE).

have an eeepc 701 with 4gb , i cant get the webcam running. In Xandros webcam was ok. Can someone help me with this?
My second problem is wlan with wpa2 - cant get inet, with wep 128 bit - no problem.
